Smarter Cars. Safer Streets.
(It’s a Philly Thing)

We believe smarter cars, powered by an innovative public network, can create safer streets and stronger communities. It will allow users to protect the people, property and places we all care about.

What can happen in our communities?

Parking Violations & Towing

Last year, there were over 1.3 million parking tickets issued and 117,000 vehicles were towed. Parking tickets averaged $40 per ticket and each tow cost $175. Combined, these cost Philadelphians over $72 million dollars.

Motor Vehicle Theft

Broken windows, missing wheels, catalytic converters.... There were over 7,000 incidents of motor vehicle theft in Philadelphia last year. The average theft resulted in $9,000 of damages.

Hit & Run

There were over 4,300 reported hit & run incidents reported in Philadelphia last year.

Break downs

Abandoned vehicles are a safety risk for pedestrians. They also hinder First Responders such as Police, Fire and EMTs in emergencies. Last year, there were over 7,100 reported in Philadelphia.

Emergency repairs

Broken water mains, power line repairs, fallen trees and construction. Utility workers need access to city infrastructure in emergencies. They are often forced to work around, or tow, vehicles to perform essential repairs.

We can work together

What if we could build a safe and secure network and contact each other when there’s a problem? What if that platform was anonymous and prevented all forms of harassment? What if we could build an even stronger community?
